I meant to post these pictures a while back and never got around to it. We did Santa pics again this year with Lisa Patti and everything was REALLY similar to last year...except that Vera and Will changed roles. This year, Vera was cool, calm, and collected when she met the big guy. But Will? Not so much! He has the same face that Vera had last year. Poor baby!
It was POURING the day that we had signed up for pics, and so we didn't get to do them outside like last year. They still turned out cute! Here are a few of my favorites:
We went to the farm yesterday to visit with all of the Fulton Family. Grady, Vera, and Will had the best time playing outside. I tried getting a cute picture of the three of them in the field, but they wouldn't slow down long enough... So candid ones are what you get. Ha!
All was good until Vera and Will got into a fight over a ball...
Grady started UPWARD Basketball this year. Josh is coaching his team. They both are having a blast! UPWARD is such a cool program and I love the way everything is organized...from the practices, to the devotions, to the way they rotate the players in and out of the games! It's been so fun for him already in his first year and I know he'll probably want to do this every year from now on!
Before the game, Josh calls all of the players names out and they run out on the floor like they do in a pregame of a real basketball game. He asked them all to come up with nicknames so he could make it fun when they run out. Grady chose "Grady-the-Bowling-Ball-Hammer" of course, in honor of his favorite MSU football player, Josh Robinson. ha ha.
Here are a few pictures from his first two games. I do not get to take that many great pics as I have a little clown crawling all in my lap during the game...but oh well... here are a few:
Ha ha ha....the kid that Grady is guarding cracks me up...he looks REAL interested in playing basketball at the moment! HA! :)
The weather in December has started off unseasonably warm! We have been enjoying short sleeves! It's crazy! We always go to the park to see the lights at Christmastime, but usually in the past, we've had something to do on the night of the Grand Lighting, or either it's been too cold or rainy! This year, the weather was perfect, so we decided to try it out!
has done MUCH better with Santa this year! No more fits!
This picture cracks me up... Vera is still staring at Santa, Grady is posing, all suave and stuff, and Will is NOT happy at all about taking a picture!! HAAA!
We are the Hammer Family! We live in Brandon, MS. Josh is a program analyst for Hope Enterprise Corporation / Hope Credit Union and Julie is a 3rd grade teacher. We were married in 2006. God has blessed us with two wonderful little kiddos...Grady and Vera. This blog is just a bit about our life.
