The minute we heard that Mississippi State was hosting a regional, we ordered tickets and made plans to take Grady! It's been 10 years since we have hosted at home and I was SO pumped up to get to take my little boy to one of my absolute favorite places on the planet... Dudy Noble!
Grady has only been to one MSU baseball game on campus.. We've been to a couple games that MSU has played at Trustmark Park, but just haven't been able to make those trips to Starkville. I was SO excited at how much he loved, loved, loved the atmosphere and the games! He really got into the games and cheered like a little pro! He knows quite a bit about baseball and impressed all of the people sitting around us... Makes this mama SO very proud!
We stayed for the weekend with our friends the Pierces, and had a great time just hanging out in Starkville on Sunday. We even got to go to Pinelake-Starkville, which I had been wanting to do for a while!
The Sunday night game didn't turn out as we hoped it would and we ended up having to have an extra game tonight. We made the call to skip tonight's game as I missed Vera so much and wanted to go rescue my sweet mom who kept her all weekend for us!
Grady, Josh, and I just watched the Dawgs take the regional win tonight on t.v. Wish we could have been there in person, but what a fun weekend it was!!! Glad the Road to Omaha is still alive!!!
